Coming from Germany, Johanna and Marco wished for an elegant and enchanting wedding in the Tuscan countryside. We helped them plan their dream event in Siena, surprising their guests with custom-made design and decorations.
Dream destination wedding in Tuscany
When we met, Johanna and Marco were looking forward to getting married in Tuscany. Their dream event was an elegant wedding in the countryside with all of their closest friends and family there to support them.
At first, we started scouting for the perfect venue and eventually decided on the charming Castello Banfi Wine Resort. This location is placed in a beautiful natural setting, the main castle and its borgo are surrounded by vineyards owned by the property.
3 days of events and celebrations
The destination wedding of Johanna and Marco lasted three days. On the first day, the wedding couple welcomed their guests, about 50 people, in the main square of the borgo.
We organised a casual welcome dinner, with live entertainment and custom-made decorations characterized by aromatic plants and tomatoes. The atmosphere was that of a traditional Italian village party! Good company, amazing music and tasty food were on the menu for the whole evening.
Wedding ceremony with a view
The next day everyone attended the wedding ceremony. The wedding arch was set in the venue’s garden so that everyone could enjoy the wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside. The sun was shining and we had to plan a welcome fresh drink for all guests to make them more at ease under the August’s Italian sun. Johanna and Marco were extremely excited for the ceremony day, hearing them say “I do” moved all guests to tears as the civil ceremony was very emotional.
It was a beautiful moment and the stunning view over the hills of Val d’Orcia made it really special. The ceremony reception on the Terrazza dei Grappoli, was extremely elegant and romantic with a touch of pink and blush. The couple opted for a luxury mise en place with golden cutlery and a different wine for every dish to offer their guests the opportunity to taste several Tuscan wines.
Party night with DJ music
The wedding party went on until late at night. There was a DJ who made everyone dance and have fun to the music. Guests also appreciated the furniture we used to create open-air living rooms in the courtyard. The custom lighting design with fairy lights was perfect to frame the night and enhance the party atmosphere.
On the last day, to conclude the celebration and say goodbye to the newlyweds Johanna and Marco, all guests were invited to a BBQ party. Decorations were made with greenery and a lot of lemons, just as the bride wished for.
