Ginevra & Federico
Ginevra and Federico, a lovely Italian couple living in Kenya, contacted us to plan a symbolic ceremony in an intimate wedding venue on the Tuscan coast.
Elopement at Villa Talamo on the Tuscan coast
When we first visited Villa Talamo, the couple immediately fell in love with the decor since it had a feel of their house in Africa. The inside decor and raw and natural greenery of the gardens feel like it was out of a safari.
Inside the house were hunting trophies and patterns that reflected the owner’s love for Africa. This connection was unique and spoke of the couple. A mix between their current home and the country they grew up.
Symbolic ceremony with a sea view
Ginevra and Federico dreamed about a symbolic wedding ceremony with the 30 closest friends and family members from Florence, the bride’s city, and Rome, the groom’s.
The celebrant was their closest dear friend, who talked about spirituality and the bond of becoming husband and wife. It was such a romantic and touching ceremony with a stunning view of the Argentario sea. The guests were touched by the ceremony and the astonishing venue.
The spring wedding in Tuscan
The wedding theme was the spring season. The couple desired a feel intimate and close ceremony with a simple but refined setup. The decor was meant to be as if the bride picked each flower herself. The flowers were seasonal blooms from nearby areas, with colors found in spring.
The tablecloth was a classic and elegant toile de jouy, and the places were fine designed by Richard Ginori Oriente Italiano, one of the most famous craftsmanship for pottery. The menu proposed fresh Tuscan vegetables and fish. The party finished with a very good creamy and fruity wedding cake.
