Lindsay and Erik got married in the Chianti region during a beautiful sunny day in September. The event was planned to experience the best this territory has to offer especially food and wine.
Destination wedding at Borgo Argiano
Lindsay and Erik were looking for a simple, yet refined, venue in the Chianti region to host their wedding ceremony and reception. Coming from the UK, this loving couple, trusted our team as true experts of the territory, and decided to share with us all their dreams for their wedding day.
The country-chic style was their thing, so we immediately thought of a venue surrounded by vineyards and nature: Borgo Argiano, near Siena.
Jewish wedding in Chianti
The one of Lindsay and Erik was a charming Jewish wedding! They pronounced their vows in the garden of the venue, surrounded by olive trees. We arranged a Chuppah with wooden poles decorated with the same flowers used for the bride’s bouquet and the centerpieces.
The result was simply beautiful! Simple and a bit rustic, but chic as the couple wanted each wedding detail to be.
Exclusive use of the property
Borgo Argiano was entirely booked for the day giving Lindsay and Erik, together with their 80 guests, the exclusive use of the whole property. They loved to pamper their guest allowing them to experience the unique atmosphere of Chianti in a private environment.
The beautiful grounds of the estate provided a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding photos. The couple also took some pics in the vineyard taking advantage of the sun and the mild climate.
Menu with local food and wine
Dinner was served at sunset, after a delightful aperitif in the garden. A long imperial table occupied an entire alley of the hamlet, it was very picturesque and romantic. As for the menu, Lindsay and Erik opted for the best choices of food and wine of the territory.
The party went on till late at night involving the guests in cheerful laughs and dances.
