The Perfect Location for a Dream Wedding on Lake Como
Villa Pliniana was built on an inlet of Lake Como, surrounded by lush vegetation and set in rock. Near the Villa, the Colorée Valley stream plunges into the lake after a seventy-meter waterfall. The building is anchored to the rock on both the upstream and front sides. The loggia divides the main floor into two separate parts that house two large halls, the reception area, a billiard room, a dining room, and the kitchen. In the center of the courtyard is a statue of Neptune with trident. In front of the loggia, beyond the courtyard, appears the rock wall from which an intermittent spring gushes forth, its waters flowing through the villa and into the lake through the portico on the facade. A carved, wooden spiral staircase leads from the main floor to the suites on the upper floor. A convenient elevator connects all levels to the parking lot.

Villa Pliniana has recently undergone a complete restoration and updated to the highest contemporary standards, while maintaining the charm and historic details of the original design. Patricia Urquiola, designer of sister property the Sereno, redesigned the Villa's select interiors.
