Liz & Andrew
Elizabeth and Andrew are an American couple who desired to get married in Tuscany, in particular Florence, one of their favorite cities in the world.
White and old-world wedding setup at Villa Corsini
According to their requests and needs, when they told us about their dream wedding venue, we had no doubt! Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte in Florence would be a perfect choice. And so it was!
We planned a wedding with a symbolic ceremony and an elegant reception with a totally white and old-world feel setup. It was such a great, luxurious, and exclusive arrangement! The total white decor also adorned the Gallery Room, where the reception took place.
Symbolic wedding in a Florence venue
For the symbolic wedding ceremony of Elizabeth and Andrew, two large urns created a frame for the exchange of vows in the Italian garden.
Later, during the cocktail hour, we used bamboo sets and tall tables covered by white tablecloths and delicate flower decorations. In the Gallery Room, the couple choose a long imperial table centered in the middle and covered in a soft white linen tablecloth. Tall flower centerpieces composed of delicate white roses and some touches of blush and a low runner of centerpieces were placed to decorate the table.
The rain didn't stop the amazing wedding
Unfortunately, a few moments before the ceremony, torrential rain started. We had to make a decision: to proceed with plan B inside or going outside when the rain had stopped.
The bride made the decision that although the ground was still wet, it was more magical to get married in the rain than plan b. So we entertained the guests in one of the rooms inside the villa. Galateo catering greeted them with Spritz while they waited, and then helped our team quickly clean up the ceremony area. The result was amazing!
