This very classy American couple arrived in Florence with 80 guests from all over the world to celebrate their wedding in the splendid setting of Villa Cora. They dreamed about a super elegant and fashionable event and we helped them realize it!
English-style wedding in Florence
Victoria & David wanted a classic Anglo-Saxon wedding. Their idea was to create a super fancy event such as a meeting of the upper class following the example of the TV series Downton Abbey.
For a wedding of this type, the choice could only fall on Villa Cora as their venue, an aristocratic residence built in the nineteenth century with a panoramic view of the historic center of Florence.
Vogue-inspired wedding photos
The halls of the villa were the backdrop to the wedding photos Victoria and David have always wished for. The frescoes, the baroque details and the artworks of the hotel were a perfect set for the style they chose inspired by the most famous fashion magazine: Vogue.
The result? A truly unique photo shoot that represented their most special day in a very original way.
Wedding reception at Villa Cora
The wedding reception was held in the Sala degli Specchi of Villa Cora. The room was set up with two long imperial tables that seated all 80 guests. Candelabra and bouquets as centerpieces completed the composition, creating a wonderful old-fashion atmosphere.
The menu chosen in collaboration with the chef of the villa, allowed the newlyweds and their guests to enjoy an authentic Italian culinary experience.

Victoria and David’s wedding took place on a beautiful day in May. Spring is one of the best times for weddings in Italy and this couple has been able to make the most of it.
