Elegant Wedding in the Tuscan Maremma
In the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, La Pescaia Resort is located between Roccastrada and Castiglione della Pescaia, along the ancient road between Siena and Rome. This luxury resort represents a rebirth of authentic patrician rural history thanks to a conservative restoration that respects the genius loci. An excellent example of a 19th-century Villa-Farm, one of the few remaining in the area, it has historical ties to Pia Tolomei’s family and is immersed in an estate with over six thousand centuries-old olive trees, unspoilt forests and hidden paths, ideal for hiking and horseback riding, activities traditionally associated with the Villa Tolomei.
Managed by Beatrice and Margherita Ramella, two young entrepreneurs from Milan, together with their husbands Gonzalo and Mariano, and supported by a young and dynamic international team, La Pescaia Resort is the perfect choice for nature lovers seeking an authentic and sophisticated experience.
Spaces and services at La Pescaia Resort
With 14 elegant rooms and 2 flats, furnished with family style and a spectacular swimming pool carved out of the old ‘peach orchard’ basins, and manicured gardens dominated by a centuries-old cedar tree in the courtyard, the resort offers a private and relaxed atmosphere, far from the stresses of everyday life. Newlyweds and 34 of their guests can stay in the villa and adjoining flats, with breakfast included.
The Resort’s gourmet restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, serves typical dishes prepared with organic vegetables and high-quality produce, served ‘al fresco’ under the pergola on the terrace or inside the villa, surrounded by a setting rich in art and history.
