Anina and Benjamin are a joyful and funny French couple. They contacted us to plan their weekend wedding in Tuscany. A memorable event along three days in which they spent lots of quality time with their close friends and family from different European countries.
Weekend wedding in Tuscany at Villa Lena
Anina, the bride, spoke French and German since her family is from Switzerland, and Benjamin, the groom, was just French. Everyone at the party came from all over Europe. Some drove as far as Portugal. For this reason, we suggested different venues a few minutes drive from Villa Lena to sleep, to simple transfer to and from the wedding venue, and enjoy their Tuscan days.
The couple reserved with exclusivity Villa Lena for three days, to host their beloved guests. It was such a memorable weekend wedding in Tuscany!
Symbolic ceremony and party all night long
Anina and Benjamin’s wedding guests arrived on Friday at Villa Lena to enjoy a welcome drink and pizza party all together. The following day, we planned the symbolic ceremony with a country and earthy setup with white roses and greenery on a wedding arch.
During the ceremony, some friends of the couple spoke and then the spouses exchanged their romantic wedding vows. The party went on with a wedding reception and an all-night-long party. For this reason, we organized a shuttle service for the wedding guests to nearby hotels, so they enjoyed the moment without any stress.
Classic style wedding setup
According to the couple’s needs, we planned a classic-style and fine wedding setup. The mise en place, with earthy colors, natural greenery, and whites and greens, had one long imperial table in wood, and round tables with tablecloth. The stationery was designed by the bride and inspired by the colors of the villa.
The catering service was managed by Guidi Lenci. The team took care of the corners and finger foods, during the Italian aperitivo and the reception. The touch of class was a typical Italian gelato cart with three flavors as dessert.
